Powderhorn Wilderness Hunting Trips

At nearly 12,000 feet of elevation, a hunt in the Powderhorn Wilderness is something that will never be forgotten. Powderhorn Wilderness was established in 1993 , and not only are there trophy class elk and deer, but also moose, black bear, and bighorn sheep.  Inside of the wilderness lines, there are no motor vehicles besides the old style horse power.
Meals are provided by the camp cook. There will be a hot breakfast to wake up to, a packed lunch for you on your hunt, and a hot dinner waiting for when you get back to camp. Snacks for your hunt will also be provided.

Every morning will start off with a hot breakfast, and then a 1/2 hour  to a 2 hour horseback ride based on hunt location. While hunting, sandwiches and snacks will be packed for lunch. You will be able to hunt from first light to last light, and after you will ride back to camp for a hot dinner. The bonfire will be ready for your return, waiting to here stories of the day
